Even though we still have summer, I can already feel autumn in my bones. I don’t know how about you but I instantly feel like dark chocolate when I think about rain and chilly weather. Speaking of which, guess what I was able to get on summer Sephora’s sale. I saw it discounted and I thought that it is a perfect tool, which can maintain of if needed ‘fake’ my sun kiss look.
Bourjois ‘Délice de Poudre’ looks like chocolate bar and it smells of chocolate. It is available in two shades: olive-toned for deeper skin tones and light, perfect pale skin type. I have purchased darker shade as I thought that it would be perfect for contouring. I must say that it is one of the best bronzers I had. For long time I was faithful to Nars Laguna but The Chocolate Bronzer seems to be equally good.
I discovered that I do not need a lot of product to get a bronze, natural looking glow. It is great to contour cheekbones and jaw. It is matte but at the closer inspection, we can observe tiny gold flecks that brighter the whole face without being noticed.
The bronzer comes in a compact, magnetic cardboard. Inside we will find a product in a shape of a chocolate bar. Although the packaging and the whole idea around the bronzer is great, I am missing a small mirror and a brush for small touch ups here and there. I also observed that it is easy to turn orange when I applied too much of the product.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase. It is cheap and it can easily compete with the most expensive brands. If you like the smell of chocolate you will be satisfied with the Délice de Poudre.
